NILES, IL — September 10, 2026 — Affy Tapple, the creator of The Original Caramel Apple, is introducing a whole new way to enjoy its famous homemade caramel with the launch of Affy Tapple Caramel Dip.
For generations, Affy Tapple has been known for its crisp apples coated in rich, buttery caramel. Now, fans can enjoy that same delicious caramel in a convenient dip made for more than just apples.
Dip it. Dunk it. Drizzle it. Enjoy it.
Affy Tapple Caramel Dip is made for whatever you’re craving. Dip sliced apples, strawberries and other fruit, pretzels, cookies, crackers and more — or get creative and drizzle it over your favorite desserts. If you can dip it, Affy Tapple Caramel Dip makes it better.
“Since 1948, we’ve been making our famous homemade caramel using the same recipe that generations of Affy Tapple fans have loved,” said Bob Happel, President of Affy Tapple. “We wanted to give people a new way to enjoy that iconic caramel, beyond the traditional caramel apple. Affy Tapple Caramel Dip brings the same great taste people know and love to whatever they want to dip, creating a whole new way to experience Affy Tapple.”
The launch marks a significant product innovation for Affy Tapple, expanding the brand beyond the traditional caramel apple and giving consumers an easy, versatile way to enjoy its signature caramel at home. Affy Tapple is also introducing a new Caramel & Chocolate Dipped Pretzel 3-Pack.
