Affy Tapple Caramel Apples are made to order to ensure freshness and carefully packaged so they arrive in perfect condition.

To further ensure your gourmet gift is as fresh as possible, we use UPS for all of our deliveries. Our maximum time in transit is 3 business days and our default shipping methods are Ground or 3-Day Air depending on destination.   If you need your gift sooner, we offer 2-Day Air & 1-Day Air delivery services.

Shipping Deadlines

We ship via ground Monday through Thursday depending on destination.  Our 3-Day Air service ships on Monday and Tuesday. Our 2-Day Air service ships Monday - Wednesday and our 1-Day Air Service is available for shipment Monday through Friday. Orders cannot be shipped on the same day the order is received. Please use our shipping calendar at checkout to select your desired delivery date.

Shipping Destinations

We ship to the 48 Continental States, Alaska and Hawaii. For shipment to Alaska and Hawaii, an additional charge will apply. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Delivery Locations

We suggest shipping to a location where you know somebody will be available to receive the package, for example, the recipient's workplace. UPS may leave gifts at a destination in which no one is home. But keep in mind, our gifts are perishable and shouldn't be exposed to the elements for too long, especially in warm or freezing weather conditions.

Warm Weather Shipping

Not to worry! During the summer months, we ship our products in specially designed cartons and ice packs. For shipping in certain warm weather regions, we use these cartons and ice packs during warm weather seasons. To ensure product quality, we may not offer shipping services like 3-Day Air or long distance ground shipping during warm weather periods. Please see seasonal dates below to see when we may offer shipping restrictions and insulate your shipments:

  • AL, AZ, CA, FL, LA, MS, NM, NV, TX require warm-climate insulated shippers from March 30 - November 13 and 3-Day Air and Ground may be unavailable.
  • AR, CO, DE, DC, GA, ID, KS, NJ, NY, OK, SC, TN, UT, WV, WY require warm-climate insulated shippers from May 1 - October 31 and 3- Day Air and Ground may be unavailable.
  • AK, CT, IL, IN, IA, HI, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, VT, VA, WA, WI require warm-climate insulated shippers from May 1 - October 1 and 3-Day Air and Ground may be unavailable.

Shipping Delays

Though UPS is an extremely reliable shipping agent, there are times when even they are unable to provide on-time delivery, such as during extreme weather situations, national emergencies, etc. We ask for your patience during these times and promise to get your gift to its destination as soon as possible.

Order Modifications

In order to allow us to prepare your order for shipment we are unable to change orders within 24 hours of scheduled shipment.  If you wish to make a modification to an order The Affy Tapple Customer Service team can assist with any modifications needed to existing orders prior to that time.
